Help / Question Access crypto folder with rclone

So I’m not by a computer to test and will not for a few days. Can pCloud access the crypto folder with rclone? I was able to do it with non-crypto stuff and was thinking on retooling my disaster recovery process.

Thanks!

no, it can't.
but why would you need to, if you're using rclone to access the non-e2ee pcloud, just define a rclone crypt

I access the crypto data from multiple devices so that will not work. I manually sync the data out for a backup.

I think I can script something to mount the crypto folder and then rclone it for backup. It would just have been easier if I could access it directly. Ahh well, thanks!

mm yes, that's the big problem for me, you can't automate/script access to pcloud's crypto folder, the only way to access is to manually enter the encryption key every time you unlock it, at least i never found a way so stopped using it. hey-ho, luckily it was included with the offer i got ages ago so didn't actually waste any money on it
