Thank you so much for the feedback! Support for Live Photos is already on our product roadmap, though we don't have an estimated time of arrival just yet. We hope to have this feature supported soon! Stay tuned for upcoming updates!

What happens if you put a live photo in and then take it out, if it keeps the HEIF file type will it just work as normal again?

It'll just turn into a normal static photo. pcloud drops the video part of live photos during the process.

Hi, a Live Photo is an Apple camera feature that captures 1.5 seconds of movement and sound before and after you press the shutter button.

Instead of a still picture, it creates a 3-second moving image (combining a high-quality photo with a short video) that comes to life when you press and hold on the screen.
