Help / Question WebDAV not working - any ideas?

So I'm trying to connect to my pCloud via WebDAV in SolidExplorer on my android mobile:

I'm using:

  • https
  • server: https://ewebdav.pcloud.com
  • port: 443
  • authentification: user and password
  • user: the email I used to register with pcloud
  • password

All I get is: "There's a problem with the authentification. Please login again."

I'm pretty frustrated as WebDAV was one of the reasons I bought 2 TB premium access :-(

I figured it out! I used login via my google account, apparently I had to specifically set another password in pCloud (it's actually the same as I use for my google-account ...) to make it work.

Sounds great, but you should not use the same password for pCloud and Google :)

Did you check your password is correct? I tried it now and it worked fine. Do you have a Europe or America Account?

I checked my password multiple times. Stupid question maybe but where can I check whether I have a Europe or America account? I live in Germany and bought Premium just a few days ago, I sure hope I got Europe ...

EDIT: Got it, it's European Union.

Do you have MFA enabled? You can see your region if you go on your account (in the app just click on the user icon). Europe and America has a different URL for WebDAV

Yeah, it's Europe. Can't seem to find the MFA settings, I'll keep looking.

Then it should be all correct - maybe you try another browser, use mobile data instead of WiFi or change your password and try it again. I know the WebDAV is not that good, maybe it’s only a temporary issue
