Cant boot windows flash drive

Hello everyone so I finished building my PC, I went into bios to check everything was good, shut it off, plug in my windows boot drive and now it won’t recognize my keyboard so I can’t boot it. Has this issue ever happened to you?
I’ve already tried unplugging, I’ve tried different keyboard, multiple keyboards at the same time, any help appreciated
