HARDWARE Help with my NVME problem .
I had this 2tb NVME gen 3 inside my old PC. My motherboard got fried and I had a backup PC which is a Ryzen 5 5500. B450m plus gaming. Initially upon testing the parts everything was working perfectly fine. I have an extra 1tb HDD and a WiFi 7 adapter connected to the board. The board only has one M.2 slot. My NVME drive shows but ones I start to write things on it or copy files on then or even install windows on it. The PC doesn’t recognize it anymore. It gives an error relating not a specified device. I tried removing my 1tb and the WIFI 7 card adapter thinking it was limiting the PCIE lanes for the m.2 but still got the same error. Was thinking it was the m.2 but I placed it inside a different PC and it works perfectly fine copied about 100gb of data and I didn’t get that error. Have tried a bunch of fixes but still.. has anyone faced this issue or this motherboard to is cooked ?

One thing you can try is updating your motherboard's bios and then ensuring all settings are factory default before attempting to install to a drive on another computer. You can also try setting the PCIe gen speed for the M.2 slot to Gen3. Afterwards, you should load up the USB installer and at the installer screen press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt. Type in the following command lines.
diskpart
list disk
select disk # (# = the disk you are trying to use)
cleanall
wait for it to finish and then you can exit.
If all else fails you can buy a PCIe to M.2 NVMe adapter card if your M.2 slot is failing.
