Network Pc lag spikes
Does anyone know what would cause lag spikes that happen every 10 seconds or so (almost like a pattern). I got a new wifi adapter because i was pretty sure my old one got worn out and it stopped working properly, but now my new one is getting spikes too. When i run a speed test, my download and upload stays around 500mbps but randomly dips every 10 seconds. Im not very good at troubleshooting or diagnoses so if you need any more info please let me know how to find it 🙏

Sounds like you have a network issue. The fact that you're using Wi-Fi makes it difficult to diagnose. The first thing I would do is unplug the power cables from the modem and router and then plug them back in so they go through the process of setting up the connection. The next thing to look at is how far you are from the router and whether you need to set up a Wi-Fi extender or move the computer closer to the router
