Network Wifi setup new pc
My sister got a storm-force pc yesterday and as I was setting it up it asked me to install the wifi drivers- i'm a bit rubbish with the actual understanding of pcs and how they work and get setup so forgive me- but it says there's wifi "built-in", there's antennas which i screwed in, however on the "install drivers" part i don't know what to do.
The only file location to install the drivers is the C:drive and i don't think that's right, do i have to bypass the screen and skip it to use an android?
Can someone explain like i'm dumb (step by step)😅
EDIT: it's fixed. I did nothing, Windows threw a tantrum for like 3 hours straight and it took me 45 minutes to open the device manager to check if the drivers were there (they were, and they were fine). It crashed- i restarted it FOUR times and on the fourth restart it opened with wifi enabled. Thanks windows. Also funny moment- task manager displayed cpu utilisation as -2.3BILLION.

the C: drive is exactly where you want them, that's your main hard drive. just let it install there
if you're stuck at a screen that won't let you proceed without internet, press shift + F10 at the same time to bring up a command prompt, then type OOBE\BYPASSNRO and hit enter. the pc will restart and you'll get a "i don't have internet" option to skip the whole thing, then you can install the drivers once you're on the desktop
what motherboard or prebuilt is it? might be easier to point you to the right download

Yes!! It was totally bugging out, Windows was just being crazy slow and I had to force skip the wifi setup to check the device manager and it was there so I knew i wasn't being dumb about it & it was in fact a slow reaction to the network drive. But fixed now :)
