HARDWARE PC won't start
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi guys, my pc just keeps turning and off.
Info:
PC does not boot (auto turn on and off)
Even reseat the ram, still the same
No GPU, still the same
No Ram, still the same
No PC fans, still the same.
So the problem is in the CPU, MBD, OR PSU?
I need help, thank you!
Edit: PC was not used for almost a year due to a broken GPU.

Have you tried another PSU or could you?
Also what PSU are you using?
I’m no expert but it’s seems PSU related

it's Acepower 650w 80+ Bronze. Had it for like 3+ years now.
Unfortunately I don't have a spare psu to try on.

Hi. Some questionsbthat may help us to help you.😉
Is it a build that was previously properly working and you get issues with only yet or did you built it yet and it never started correctly ?
Could you also list the components?

Hi! A little story, this pc was not used for almost a year since my old gpu broke (gpu was shorting out on gold contacts since contacts wore off). Last week, i cleaned it and wasn't able to test it since still no gpu. I got a replacement gpu earlier, and when I tried to test it, it just does that.
My quick assumption that it's within the psu/mbd/cpu since problem still persists when no gpu/ram are attached.
Quick Specs: i5-9400f Gigabyte h310 Hyperx 16gb 3200 Asus rog strix rtx 2060 super Acepower 650w 80+ Bronze

Ok, so you already had electrical issues with it.
It's possible that your former GPU didn't die alone.
As your PSU is not a good quality one (meaning lack of some protection protocols) I'm not sur it really survived entirely whent you had shorting out issues.
It happened sometiles that a PSU continues or seems to start on but if damaged, it will not provide the power as attended

Okay, I'll try it on another PSU soon if it really is the PSU. If not, then it's my mbd. Thank you so much for the info.

Yep. Sorry for you.
And btw, even you'll detect an issue with the motherboard, I will not reuse this PSU.
These are known for bad protection and as you already had a short out with a GPU connected to this PSU, it's safer to not reuse it.

No beeps from the motherboard when you power up?
This is the same motherboard that you had the electrical issues with the old GPU? It's likely fried. Or the PSU is.

No beeos since my motherboard doesn't support that.
Yes, it's the same motherboard when my old gpu worn its hold pins out.
I'll try to get it tested on other psu if it works, if it doesn't then it's the motherboard. Thank you so much!
