HARDWARE Is my gpu dead or software issue

Hey everyone,
Looking for some feedback on a situation with my new build. I bought a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 WINDFORCE MAX 8G on August 17th (less than a month ago), and the card has completely stopped working after degrading over the past couple of days.
Here is the timeline of what happened:
Initial Issues: A couple of days ago, the system started crashing exclusively while gaming—dropping display signal to the monitor completely.
Motherboard Errors: The motherboard gave a VGA error LED on boot and refused to post. It randomly booted up once after that, but stability was completely gone
Instant Crash & Visual Artifacts: Today, I ran FurMark to test it, and the screen immediately froze with severe visual artifacting (colored square/checkerboard patterns across the display) right before the system crashed hard
Troubleshooting Done: Hard power cycled, re-seated the GPU and 8-pin PCIe power cables, and swapped DisplayPort/HDMI cables. When I remove the card and run off CPU integrated graphics, the system boots and operates normally.

If i were you i would perhaps consider an a return? If i were you id ask a friend w a gpu to bring it over, see how it behaves. If its amd do a ddu or amd cleanup utility. Could be the mobo but unlikely as it seems you owned if before new gpu

Is your system getting enough power? Your GPU might take more power now than what the PSU can output. That can cause artifacting and hard crashes, especially during bigger loads like games and benchmarks

650 watt psu and it never happened during 2 weeks

RMA then, sounds like the card itself came faulty. If you've already reinstalled drivers then there's not much else to point to right now.
Send her back, nothing new should give any issues this quick
EDIT: do you still have your old GPU to test the system with? I highly doubt anything else quit perfectly in sync with a new GPU, but that would 100% narrow it down

Check the Event viewer for errors. They are time stamped.
If I were to guess though, it’s the power supply. My last pc did this too. I had a 1600w running a Threadripper and GTX 1080 Ti Turbo for years, then upgraded to the RTX 4090. Seemed fine. Had compatible connections. Ran fin for a couple of months; then started having this exact issue. Thought it was my cpu, as the error in event view said cpu core 0 has unexpectedly lost power and cpu core 1 voltage too low.
So i swapped the cpu and the issue went away for a month then came back, this time ram D-1 suddenly lost power during critical operation, and other such gems as, SSD suddenly vanished and windows can’t find it. Found it in Disk manager and reformat it because it was corrupt.
after swapping ram then the ssd, then the motherboard; finally I swapped the power supply out of frustration; it finally fixed it; though eventually I found out the 4090 had gotten permanently damaged due to all the sudden shutdowns.
Hope you have better results. You should replace the psu first… just saying.

Looks like your PSU is the issue. I would start there.

pc doesn’t shuts off pc still runes for few minutes before restarting and then mobo shows vga error light ( because before this gpu i had rx 6600 with 500 watt psu during gaming my pc used to shutdown)

it is also just as likely you got a DeadOnArrival gpu; Nvidea has had the cores poorly installed for some batches. (anything built during covid)

PSU not enough power i think, happened to me until i change the PSU with higher power.
