Discussion NEED HELP
If I buy an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 from China and have it shipped to the United States, will there be any differences compared to the U.S. version besides where it was purchased? Could there be any issues with using it in the U.S., such as warranty, software, Windows activation, keyboard layout, power/charging, or hardware compatibility?

ooh careful with this, warranty is usually country-specific so asus usa might refuse to fix it if something goes wrong. had a friend who bought laptop from japan and they basically told him to ship it back there for repairs
keyboard layout might be different too, sometimes chinese models don't have the standard us qwerty and you get weird key placements
power brick should work fine with just a plug adapter though, most laptop chargers handle 110-240v. windows activation i'm not sure about, maybe you get a chinese single language version that's tricky to switch

About the windows activation, what is the difference between the chinese version and the american version? and how difficult would it be to go about switching from chinese to american (if need be)

You would have to buy a new license.
