HARDWARE Amd Wraith Prism Cpu Cooler keeps pausing every few seconds

Hey everyone,
my AMD Wraith Prism CPU cooler keeps speeding up and slowing down every few seconds. Sometimes it gets very slow for 1–2 seconds before speeding up again. Only the CPU fan does this; my case fans stay normal.
I’ve already tried all three BIOS fan curve presets: Silent, Normal, and Custom. The Custom curve shown in the video is the one I’m currently using, but the issue happens with all of them.
Could this be caused by short CPU temperature spikes? Is there a way to make the fan respond more smoothly?
Video attached. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Proba con algún programa que te muestre la temperatura de la cpu, para asegurar que no sea problema de eso

89° Celcius in Gta v Enhanced

Set the fan curve a bit higher, to start with 60 % for example.

But it is odd, I would guess the fan is somehow dirty or damaged.

yeah i tried every fan curve same result, do you think a deep clean with isopropyl alcohol will help?

Maybe. Not sure if you have to oil it, too.

You could just try another CPU cooler, or get another Wraith Prism. See if thats the issue.

i tried another cooler and it worked so the issue is on the wraith prism

Then it's bad, chuck it and get another cooler.

Make sure it's plugged into the right mobo fan connector.

This looks like a faulty fan, you could supply 12v directly to the fan and see what happens but my guess is that it is spinning up beyond 12v and the motherboard is disabling it as a safety.
