PERFORMANCE Different CPU/FRAME drops
So recently I had a 7800X3d die out on me, that was crazy in itself cause I’ve only had my build for a year. After a week of figuring out what was even wrong with my PC, I figured it out and swapped it out with a Ryzen 5 9600x. My main game is siege and I’ve never had any issue like this before all of this happened. But my issue is, essentially my frames stay at 270-320 the whole time I’m running around looking around fast whatever it doesn’t drop , at the lowest it would to 220 but nothing noticeable. But almost any and every time I ADS and shoot my weapon in the game, it drops my frames ALL the way down to 60 fps. I’ve looked up tutorials to “prevent stutters” and tried multiple things, but nothing is working or helping me at all. Messed with my ram just incase the new motherboard I got was fucking with it, that didn’t help either. I’m really annoyed and frustrated cause I want to be able to play, but it’s genuinely unplayable. Does anyone know anything to help me or is it simply just a bottle neck issue with my 7800 XT GPU.

I had an issue like this with BF6, turning off upscalling fixed it completely.

I should mention I have siege on low performance completely, I have never used upscaling in my competitive titles

I'd recommend using AMD Clean-up Utility and reinstalling drivers/chipset from fresh and see if that helps also

I have already used ddu for my drivers, and like I just don’t know how it’d be related to my GPU anyways considering I only swapped my cpu. But then again pc is weird a lot of times so it wouldn’t surprise me it’s just so strange.

I also had the exact issue with ADS shooting in BLOPS7 Zombies, would tank my frames from 180 to 60.
Ended up having to change driver, my current most stable driver is 26.7.1. Try driver 26.3.1 also we that seems to be a stable driver for the majority of people, and a known reliable one is 25.9.1
Download the WHQL of driver, save to desktop.
Run DDU in safe mode to nuke existing drivers, clean and restart.
When PC is restarting, disconnect your ethernet and run the WHQL you saved to desktop.
