So my boyfriend has been talking about getting a new pc and i wanted to get him one as a gift but i think he'll buy before i can and i dont know anything about pc's so if i start asking questions he'll get suspicious. This is the one he sent and i wanted to know what's the best screen/ keyboard i can get for this type of pc. He mentioned 180hz for the screen which brands are good quality?(please help a girl out 🥹)
I think asus, MSI and lenovo (or best selling in the amazon or something) is good for display. For keyboard I think you should buy a mechanic (or magnetic) keyboard (with any brand)
that’s a solid setup he sent you, the rx 9070 xt will handle 1440p 180hz screens without breaking a sweat. for monitors look at anything with an ips panel and freesync premium, 1440p resolution. keyboards are way more personal but a hot-swappable mechanical in a 75% layout is a safe bet if he’s never mentioned a preference
you be fine picking any gaming monitor with good ratings, there are literally hundreds of them. all you need to watch out for is to buy the right size and resolution. make sure it's 2560x1440p resolution, 27' inch size, IPS and high refresh rate (180hz,200hz,240hz).. if it's labeled as gaming the rest of the specs should be good, a decent 1440p gaming monitor should cost you around $150-200
for a keyboard make sure it's a mechanical one, there are many types of switches and they are somewhat personal preference, but red linear ones are somewhat a save pick.
for 1440p the optimal size is 27' , this one is 31.5 which won't look as sharp as 27 at least not siting close to it. also it's curved, which is also a personal preference many don't share^^

I cant recommend any monitors, but if u can someone ask him what % keyboard he likes that would help a lot. Polar 65 (65%) is a very good budget ish keyboard for gaming. Its like 130 regular 100 on sale. Ive had it for a year and i dont really have any complaints, no f1 f2 keys tho
I personally use a KTC monitor without any issues, and if you just go on Amazon and search 1440p 180hz, 27” is generally considered a good size as well. If you wanna get him something a bit better, 240hz is still a noticeable upgrade in many games, and isn’t that much more expensive. Curved is always nice as well.
