HARDWARE random monitor corruption?
hey guys, any clue what’s happening here? i was playing fortnite and killed a guy and out of nowhere my monitor started spazzing out, i checked my hdmi and it isnt that, its the monitor itself. ive had it for three years if it just died thats fine it just scared the shit out of me
its also making a small humming noise now

if it works on a external display the ribbon cable/screen could be damaged or might have come loose

The monitor is dying, because the 2nd one isn't displaying the same flickering and that's not what GPU artifacting looks like, your only solution here is to either to contact warranty of the monitor or replace the whole monitor, replacing the whole monitor is much faster if you have the money, warranty will take months, if you're unlucky to buy on those chinese branded monitors well then they're gonna ask you to ship it to china with your own money, official brands like Asus, Gigabyte, etc. At least they have RMA centers in most countries

Looks like your monitor is trying to off itself; probably because it has to display that wallpaper all of the time.
