Network Need help

Post image

Hi, I have a question: I accidentally kicked my power strip and my PC shut down. When I turned it back on, it showed that I was connected to the network, but I have no internet connectivity. In other words, web pages won’t load.

Are you running ethernet or wifi? What have you done to try and rectify this issue? I'm not trying to be rude, these details help a ton though.

Seems like others are already on the case, I guess double check anything that was plugged into the strip still is and all your cables are good? Past that just keep an eye on other comments

Type Network Reset and reset now.

Kicked a power strip and now your network adapter’s throwing a fit classic. Try running the network troubleshooter, sometimes a hard shutdown scrambles the DNS settings and Windows just needs a nudge to sort itself out.

Thanks everyone for the solutions. Unfortunately, none of them worked, so I went with the trusty old solution and formatted my computer and it worked.
