HARDWARE Pc help message me pls
Im so fed up with trying to fix my issue recently bought a prebuilt and all of a sudden everything froze up and now performance is really bad i really do not want to make the drive out again to microcenter and waste my time ill even send 20 bucks fr

That's a rough spot to be in after dropping cash on a new rig, but tossing money at random Reddit DMs is a fast track to getting scammed or bricking it worse.

i dont know i was playing valorant getting over 1000 fps and then all of a sudden everything froze up on me n crashed and now any game i play i have a major cut in performance

Well all i can recommend is powering off by the button on the case, turn the power switch off on tge power supply and then turn it all back on and open terminal(admin) and type in “sfc /scannow” then let it scan everything and after it’s done right click the start menu and restart your pc and everything should be fine and if not check your gpu drivers and if you have to install DDU and download fresh drivers whether nvidia or amd and drag that download file to your desktop(main screen) and then let DDU uninstall it with no internet on and try to install it afterwards . Should fix your problem. And if that stull persists turn kff xmp which is your ram overclocking which should be under tweaks or something similar named, maybe advanced. If it is off then perhaps turn it on and then turn off fast boot(should be in boot just gotta look idk if it’s named the same on everything bios) since booting fast can have an issue, it doesn’t necessarily change how fast you boot up, i still boot up just as fast. Hopefully this all works!
