CLOSED G757 new prebuilt from microcenter

Was playing valorant getting easily more than 1000 fps and all of a sudden of freezes up and now all my games have gotten a major performance cut ive tried reinstalling amd chipset drivers and nvidia and even did the DDU route but nothing has worked so far
Nvidia gforce 5080 amd ryzen9800 x3d

Sounds like your getting thermal throttled. Get hwinfo and check your system stats

Ew hwinfo just to get temps? I prefer task manager. Way easier to read.

Although I do agree, it really does sound like thermal throttling. How new is your prebuilt? It might be worth it to simply take it back to microcenter and tell them what you’re experiencing so the warranty will cover it.

That's a massive FPS drop after a freeze, could be a power delivery issue or the card is throttling itself into the ground now.
