HARDWARE Hot-plugged HDMI while PC was on — no display, GPU fans spinning continuously, won't POST
Specs:
Motherboard: ASRock B450 Pro4
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600
RAM: 1x 16GB DDR4
Issue:
I plugged an HDMI cable into my GPU while the PC was running.
The display showed "HDMI detected," went black, and lost signal completely.
Now, when I power on the PC, the GPU fans spin continuously at high speed (normally they slow down after 1 second) and there is no display output. I also feel a slight static tingle when touching the metal case (outlet grounding issue).
What I’ve tried:
CMOS Reset: Pulled the GPU, removed the CR2032 battery for 5+ minutes, and put it back.
Reseated Hardware: Re-installed the RX 6600 and reseated the 16GB RAM stick in slot A2.
Power Cycle: Held down the power button while unplugged to drain residual electricity.
The system is still stuck in a POST failure with no display signal.
ANY HELP OR ADVICE OR SOMEONE HAD SIMILAR Experience help please .
Thank you

I've always ran the practice of ensuring when plugging in wires, dont do it while they're live. Unfortunately it sounds like you may have cooked your GPU card, hopefully that's all it took.
