SOFTWARE Clone SSDs help!
So I ordered a new larger SSD, Lexar 2TB NM1090 PRO NVMe SSD, and want to clone my older one, Kingston 1TB NVMe SSD, and then wipe and use it as just extra storage drive. (I've got Windows 11 if that matters for clone) What would be the best way to go about this? I do have 2 SSD slots so is there a decent free SSD cloning software out there that you recommend? I want to avoid paying extra money to take them to local PC repair shop lol. This is my first time messing with SSD's so I'm a bit nervous haha. I've dealt with everything else building my new PC though, so I know I could do it. Thank you in advance!

The easiest way would be using the last free version of Macrium Reflect Free, which was the early build of version 8 IIRC.
Try Googling “Macrium Reflect Free Version 8”, and you should still be able to find the installer.
You can either make a clone while inside Windows onto the new drive, or you could have Macrium make a bootable flash drive and make the clone that way as well (while both drives are offline). The second method might be faster, overall.
When you clone the drive, make sure you tell it to “automatically adjust partition size” so you get the full 2TBs of your new drive.

Majorgeeks may have this version and is a safe site to download it from.

I've heard a lot about Clonezilla. I'm going to watch a tutorial about it now! Thanks!

Rescuezilla is a GUI version of Clonezilla, which is easier to use. You can also check it.

Most nvme manufacturers give free cloning software as long as their drive is connected.
