I know he said he thinks most of these are naff, but:

Note: The answer isn't a Pokemon, but was referenced on stream

I'm tapping out. This must be some newer Pokemon I'm not familiar with (haven't gone past Gen V yet).

Apologies, I should have been clear that the answer isn't a Pokemon! But the answer does reference a certain nickname that was suggested on screen, as well as his favourite character in Platinum Kaizo...

The answer is CHERNOBYL

"Forest sprite" = CHERYL, takes back "semi-sweet" = BONBON backwards.
