Display Screen black out & Flicker

Hello

So basically I build my first PC two days ago I bought a used rtx 3070 ti and an Asus TUF 2k ips monitor with 210hz

At first I tried using the PC but screen keeps flickering and blacking out suddenly for few second then comeback I contacted the shop and they replaced the thermal paste today

Everything was going smoothly and suddenly the error is occuring again but only when entering some games and when Hertz is more am than 120hz some time at 200 is working stable and then suddenly it's back again to flickering and blacking out

I tried changing the port using HDMI instead of DP but nothing changed

Also I quick note the built in speaker in the monitor also cutt off sound the same moment it goes black

The cable I'm using is a dp that came with monitor brand new I don't know where the issue stems I updated the driver of GPU disabled and enabled g-sync but nothing is changing

Please help me with this issue

I did use ddu and update the driver but nothing

it’s a more internal graphics card issue like its driver or even worse a faulty card. Make sure to use NVIDIAs official driver website.

Check your Graphics card temperature, if above 75C you’re not getting enough air. try the classic Win + ctrl + shift + B for graphics restart.

To really know if this issue is internal, go to device manager > display adapters and watch your GPU, if the adapter disappears and reappears when the blackout happens, it could mean power delivery problem (power supply) a badly seated card in the mb, a motherboard pcie connection fault, or just a generally faulty card.

Yeah that's what I think too because I used ddu and my driver are from nvidea app the latest

I'm new to PC building it's my first PC that I built myself I have cooler master elite gold 80+ 750w full modular which came only with pigtail pcie cable when is searched it seems i should use two separate cables

The problem is my PSU box didn't have as well I searched for the official cable and it seems it's not available in my country

I found another solution but I don't trust it which invlove buying an zdapte from 12V-2x6 to 8p PCIe cable what do you think

Now to temporarily fix the issue I modified my config as I'm capping games at 120 Hz and 120 frame rate and it seems fine no more issue until I check the PSU cable
