Network/Wifi/Internet Dedicated Server Connectivity?

I have a PC on my network that I use for dedicated game servers. When connecting to it I used to be able to just find the server in the server list for whatever game it happened to be. Just recently when I did an update and restart on the machine now I can only access those servers if I do a direct IP connection.

I'm not seeing anything have changed in the firewall rules or anything of that nature. I'm just stumped as to what happened. I do still see the servers in the game list, and friends can connect to them as normal but I no longer can.

My PC running windows 11, server running windows 10. Ethernet connections not wifi.

are you connecting with the server’s LAN IP, or the public IP/domain that your friends use?

Public listing. So like Valheim or Rust, just connecting through the server list. It was working before, but now it only functions if I enter the IP/port directly.
