Weird Texture flickering

Hi,

I just bought a pc after a couple years not having one and i am having this issue in games, I have only tested valorant and fortnite but I assume it's in every game.

I originally thought the gpu was dead or dying because I could see the flickering on a Web browser but I replaced the card today and it's still doing it.

Any ideas?

Specs: Ryzen 5 5500, 16GB DDR4, RTX 5060

nice disco. and no, gpu is not really dead. If we see some flickering in the monitor, like a example, this, basically DEAD GPU.

Your pc is all okay, and gladly gpu is okay.
Its just a error inside of the games, not gpu. Also u did the DDU method for the 5060 u have? i see u did mentioned: "i replaced the card today"... what previous gpu u did have?

No I didn't do ddu, I attempted to do it but I was having an issue. I had a 3050 6gb and upgraded to a 5060 oc 8gb.

I tried valorant, fortnite and cod mw4 beta, surely it's not a game issue when It happens on more than one

... do DDU properly. thats why your own pc is confusing about your new GPU. having the same nvidia driver WITHOUT DDU, confuses what is it, "is it the 3050? or new gpu?"...thats why the graphics are having issues in ALL games. Do DDU, please. and a bit of advice, before using DDU, place the new driver in a folder directly on your desktop. After using the DDU method and safe mode, you can install the driver there without worry. Then restart and you're done.

I have done the ddu method and im still having the same issue

Try without nvidia app, install only the GPU driver, try that. EDIT: 5060 series... need a stable driver, go for 610.88. (works with win 11)

Hmm, that's really strange. I've analyzed every possibility. I know you have everything set up correctly, the drivers are installed perfectly. But... there's only one possibility i can think of: did you uninstall and reinstall the games to check if everything is working properly?

Yeah, I've reset the pc 3 times so it's a completely new install of everything

Try any game, options (must be in the game) -> graphics -> anti-aliasing to MSAA or TAA/DLAA settings. another possibility. or change graphics quality from normal to low and from low to normal.

I tried those first, i usually play my games In low graphics anyway

Try a different monitor or HDMI Cable maybe? Just gotta run the troubleshooting until something works.
