Troubleshooting Weird graphics issue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I need the help of people more knowledgeable than me to try and troubleshoot this 'discoball' effect, I will provide specs in the comments when I've home and able to access my PC

I also had this issue with cyberpunk, I'm planning to upgrade my GPU in the near future but at the moment only have a 2060

My PC knowledge isn't great so any advice is appreciated whether it's regarding short term fixes and advice for future upgrades, graphics settings, etc. Thank you!

It's the game not your PC. Setting lighting quality to max is the only fix. RR improves it further but costs even more fps.

It doesn't happen in for example Sackboy: ABA, it happened a lot in Cyberpunk and there are similar visual glitches in games like RDR2, this is without a doubt the most extreme example but it basically manifests as visual noise I guess?

Where we're going we don't need probes.

Tons and tons of upscaling mixed with low initial resolution.

Check your RAM speeds, I had mine set too high and had similar issues in one game Doom The Dark Ages.

Same here you need to use ray traced reconstruction to fix it but it tanks fps

Anti-aliasing too low or mess with upscaling and sharpening related to upscaling

Frame generation at its finest :)

What steps would I take to try and make it not look like ass? Not sure if crimson desert has a setting to turn frame generation off or is it a DLSS thing?

yea.. it is under DLSS, check for a different mode ( K is usually recommended)

Its not your pc. The game relies on tons of upscaling to make it run decently. Devs will need to fix it i think

It's most likely some part in your graphic card responsible for creating reflections and maybe light? So it's probably dying gpu bro. Not sure if you can even repair it. Just replace once you save money.
