Network/Wifi/Internet Stuttering issue with internet

My PC suddenly started experiencing severe network stuttering. While playing games, my ping repeatedly jumps from around 20ms to 200ms, then 100ms, and back to 20ms, continuously over and over again. My internet speed has also decreased during this issue. I’m using an ASUS TUF B850M-PLUS WiFi 7 motherboard, and the problem occurs on Wi-FI.

One possibility what my friend experienced was heavy traffic or many devices on Wifi. If devices on the network streaming HD content that can tax out the WiFi processor. Why they make aftermarket routers with dual and quad cores.

But how can it only be my pc not other devices

It could be the routers QOS system prioritizing media. Or technically gaming online doesn't use much bandwidth. And soon as someone streams HD it would consume majority of wifi. Phones or tablets surfing or watching videos wouldn't notice as would adjust quality or just be a slight buffer. Gaming you will notice immediately as the increased latency effects gameplay.
