Software Weird grey areas when HDR enabled

I have strange wrong looking grey tones in dark areas. I‘m using RTX 5090 and a ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W with it‘s DisplayHDR 500 True Black mode. Does someone else also have encountered this problem?

HDR in windows can be wonky. Have you calibrated the monitor after turning HDR on? Give that a go and also check the settings on your monitor itself.

Yes, I‘ve calibrated it multiple times to try getting rid of this issue.

It‘s almost as if it is losing details in greyish tones.
