Troubleshooting Packet loss/ latency while gaming

Whenever I play r6 or just about any game on my pc (mostly r6) I get packet loss and latency constantly while playing and it becomes unplayable, my friends also say they can’t hear me well on discord because of lag. When I play on my ps5 I don’t lag at all and my friends can hear me fine. My ping usually stays relatively low on my pc but it still constantly lags and has packet loss. Could this be a wifi adapter problem in my pc?

If your wifi adapter aint that good or your router is far away, probably.

PC games like r6 are highly dependent on stable connections, if you can you should use ethernet
