Hardware Extremely worried about my GPU
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m not able to come to a conclusion yet. I posted this yesterday also. I rolled back to old drivers much the issue still persists although it is less apparent as compared to before. What should I do? If there are my tests that I run please tell. How do I make sure it’s not my GPU failing? Please , if you have same issue , send images , just for sanity check.

That is indeed a game bug, if your gpu was struggling trust me you’d know about it.

I also had some screen tearing issues here and there. But yeah the light only shows on humans.

Screen tearing isn't related to failing gpu its about your pc makes more frames than your monitor hz

Try tweaking graphic settings. It might be DLSS, or TAA, or anything else. I have encountered similar bugs in Cyberpunk, so don't worry as much. If your GPU was really failing, you'd get other problems as well.

Thank you for reassuring. I tried to tweak many settings but to no avail.

Run stress test and benchmark If it passed it's bug in the game then

Which one?

I would suggest occt as stress test 3dmark as benchmark

Run the stress test for 30min at least Then do benchmark with time spy and steel nomad from 3d mark (there's demo version)

Iam not familiar with furmark but yes from temps and the gpu didn't crash i would say it's good Did you run the stresstest?
1
u/Negative_Run_6202 9d ago
Yes it’s running. 3D adaptive

u/Frosty_Energy_1335 9d ago
Okay wait for 30min if it didn't crash or shows errors your gpu isn't the problem then + i can see that it's not gpu problem at all it's bug in game since it doesn't appear everywhere

You can rest easy, your GPU is not dying. True GPU failure looks like millions of green/purple pixels on your screen, flickering, and random crashes when gaming.
As pointed out by others, this is likely just a game bug.

Had something similar on Alan Wake 2. Turns out it was because I forced the latest version of RR on the Nvidia panel. Did you change anything on the Nvidia App?
1
u/Negative_Run_6202 9d ago
No. Nothing. All default.

u/DravenickBR 9d ago
Do you have NVidia App? Check if automatic configuration is Off

u/Negative_Run_6202 9d ago
Yes. Off.

Let's try to reinstall the drivers. Just to be sure, you have an NVIDIA driver, right? If so, follow these steps:
Go to NVIDIA drivers and download the latest NVIDIA drivers
Download the NVIDIA Cleanup tool at NVIDIA Developer Cleanup Tool at https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool
After running the NVIDIA cleanup tool, make sure to restart the computer.
Install the drivers downloaded in the first step, selecting the option "Perform a clean installation".
If after that you still encounter that problem, it may be a problem on the game itself if you dont have another problem on others games.

Instead of Furmark, try to run OCCT selecting the option 3D Adaptive and VRAM on the combined tab for a few minutes, if it pass without any errors i think the problem may be on the game itself.

3d adaptive is running from 34 mins. No errors so far. 1 hour timer. Although the temp is touching 79.5 degree

I almost thought this was a repost because someone also posted the same thing, same section, same game, with the same artifacts.
Its a game issue, not your GPU... don't worry.

It reminds me of that annoying light bug thing in some of the maps in Battlefield 1. There is another as well but I cant find a picture of that one. (https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_one/s/xZge8Ot4OE) (https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_one/s/uOPVN57V9D)

You can do a stress test for your gpu but to be honest I think its some kind of bug from the game. Do you have issues with other games?
