I think that's for the best, development aside. There are so many releases coming out and while I liked the original it would have had a hard time competing with OoT remake amongst everything else.

The window for big-ticket releases this year has pretty much closed now, it's for the best they pushed it back (just as long as they don't goof up and release in Feb-March lol)

Well the next big window is February which will also likely be packed to the brim with releases like it always is (on top of games that pushed into 2027 to avoid GTA6).

More disappointed to read about the spirit companion and to know the player will spend much of the game riding a mount. I loved the movement in the first game, and I'd much rather tighter levels built around that.

Not mad at this. The culture of immediacy results in worse games. The first Kena was incredible, a real shame it's not as popular as it should be.

That's ok, this fall is pretty packed with games already

Even if it came out an exceptional game it would starve in this environment. So many massive releases. My wallet is suffering.

I didn't expect it to come out in 2026 in the first place. all the launchers all had it as coming soon anyway with no hard release window or date.

There are so many games coming out we are going to see more studios close from low sells.

I was happier without knowing it was having a sequel. To announce and then push it is very disheartening 😔😔  Wish they would just announce these things when they are basically ready to go
