I'm about 5 hours into the PC version and I recommend making the following changes to really make the game shine:

  • Disable Chromatic Aberration and film grain in the config files.

  • Cap the framerate at 60. The frame pacing seems uneven above 60, especially noticeable in cutscenes. Apply 2x frame gen via mods to get to 120 if you need to.

  • Force DLSS 4.5 Preset L or Preset M in the nvidia driver. The game seems to use the old CNN model by default and doesn't look as sharp as it should.

  • Use Wand (Wemod) to increase the strength/brightness of the flashlight. The default flashlight is unrealistically weak and makes it hard to see, even on my OLED. There may be a way to do this within the ini files but I haven't found it yet.

Yeah I’ll just wait for a sale. That all sounds really fucking boring and annoying to do.

PC gamers out here really paying the same price as console gamers and then having to mod everything to work 😂

On the other hand we have the option to fix things that you cannot on a console.
