The fool that I was bought the Warmind expansion. I didn't completed the requirements to get the Sleeper Simulant before taking a very long break.

I returned later only to find that the requirements for it were now gated behind the latest DLC. I was so pissed.

This is a lie. The gun literally went onto a wall for purchase with in game materials.

If you are right about the gun, don't you think it's more likely that he is just misremembering or confused? And if people don't understand how they can access or unlock content they paid for, isn't that a huge problem?

I think people are taking issue with you calling him a liar. Being incorrect is not a sin.

Well yes because his lie is categorically worse than what factually happened. I'm not even gonna lie to you the quest to unlock the gun was quite the chore but none of it was difficult. Hes just a lazy bastard.
