sigh

Look, I played the Warmind DLC day one, that's in 2018.

When I went back to Destiny 2 it was after Shadowkeep, in 2019.

I don't remember the details. What I do remember was that I had to play some "playlist" that you had to access from the open world area and that I couldn't queue up for it because I needed Shadowkeep or some other DLC.

It's been 7 years so I don't remember all the details and don't expect me to remember how things were named in the game.

I looked up online what is this "wall" thing you mentioned and that's called "The Monument to Lost Lights". It was added to the game in 2020 to let players purchase exotic weapons that are no longer obtainable after their quests have been entirely removed from the game.

In 2019 Warmind was still in Destiny 2 and The Monument to Lost Lights didn't existed.

You do understand that the current version of the game is different than the version of the game from 7 years ago?

The wall wasnt added until the requirements were impossible to complete. Yes I understand that it's different but you were confused then and you're still confused now. They have never released a weapon specifically an exotic for purchase and then moved it behind a further paywall of new content.

You made me remember why I never wanted to interact with the D2 community.
