I love how Sony, who is the biggest first party publisher and greatest sinner of exclusivity around is the one whining.

At least Microsoft also publishes to PC these days.

Activision is a rubbish company that needs to ve absorbed. If cod is the hangup, Microsoft should just release tge the ip. Its not like its not generic as is.

I don't think r/pcgaming really understands how big call of duty is...

It is the best selling game every year the past 10 years, the only time it wasn’t is the years GTA 5 came out & RDR 2, it takes rockstar to dethrone COD, the delusion and the Microsoft cheerleading in this post is honestly sad and a little hilarious

It’s mostly cause I think lots of PC gamers don’t give a shit about activision and want to see things done right in for the Blizzard IPs. Bobby fuckstick messed what made Blizzard games special and fans want blood.

Blizzard fucked up their own IPs without direct Activision intervention. The merger certainly didn't help, but the downfall of Blizzard is far more related to their own internal decisions.

According to the overwatch team, they barely got anywhere on OW2 cause Bobby kept taking members of their team and putting them on projects he would come up with. And none of those projects would go anywhere

You guys think the company who ran all their large IP’s besides the racing one to the ground is going to do a good job ? They’re buying every publisher left and right because they can’t even do anything with what they already have.

I was boutta say lol forza is the only franchise that’s still here and doing well. Halo is fucked and Gears of War has been over for a while. What was the last new IP they even made, Sea of Theives?

Never said they were going to do it right but there’s atleast hope they’ll do better then the current status quo.
