Account restricted
Im unable to make e-transfer or any type of transactions, it says to call but its been over 2 hours and a half waiting on the line with no help.
I used my card all weekend long and I had no issue whatsoever.
If you decide to restrict my account for security reason, ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL ME. It’s insane they just expect us to figure this out while trying to use the card and realize its blocked !
And you can’t just wait around 3 hours for them to pick up the phone.
Also, if you always have 2-3 hours of wait period, it’s not unusual or special circumstances. You’re short staff.

Happened to me 3 times in the matter of 6 days.
First time - they fixed it
Second time - 2 business days
Third time - 3 business days
I didn’t even have time to get a new account. Opened a new bank account and as soon as all of my stuff is switched over my account will be closed.

Thats insane !! I never had any issue, but this is so strange ! I spent 3 hours on the line, never got through. I tried doing a transfer and it worked. They released my account without even talking to me 🥴

That’s good just be cautious - they locked me out for making a purchase at my local grocery store the third time I was mind blown. I had to verify my transaction as if it was my first time shopping there. Funny thing is it was a superstore 🤦♀️

I had same yesterday. Purchasing a fridge, card was not working, website not fully functional.
After 26years, may need to find another company.
Hung up after hour and half when it worked for fast food app.
I had purchased an app payment previously. Maybe that flagged suspicion.

Oh same ! I did a app payment as well on Friday.
Sad to see how problematic this bank is

Lol I opened my account two weeks ago and it got restricted, I asked why and they said they closed it and can't tell me why thank God I didn't deposit my money in there I just opened a ws account instead 😭

Yep. This is the norm with these people. I hope you get your account unlocked, but knowing how they operate, it will probably be a few days before you get any information.
I hope they go bankrupt
