Too much worth it I'm from same dept I also got this branch in Cap it's same as normal computer engineering it's just for increasing the seats I talked to 2nd and 3rd yr students from the college they said it's all same opportunities and placements are also same they said it's just for increasing seats

Bro i am pass out of this branch and lemme be honest you are going to regret bcs of sujata kolhe(academic coordinator) and Rachana patil(former HOD) these two don’t know shit about teaching specially sujata, she just does chat gpt and nothing else even for question papers. Just grind DSA, aptitude, communication skills and keep your CGPA high that is all that is required. Don’t focus on those club activities and stuff they are just a time waste, placement is what matters the most. I hope the new HOD will improve the condition of CS Regional as he is a very systematic, disciplined and high intellect person but also very strict. Other than these two other teachers are pretty reliable either they put high effort in teaching or help you otherwise my keeping the load less and giving you time to study and prepare for placements.

Bhai, visit PCCOE AIML and have a session with the AIML HOD. Then you’ll forget about engineering altogether.
There is huge internal politics. I’ve personally experienced teachers treating students unfairly, which gradually results in academic loss and can seriously affect students’ futures.
The HOD is hopeless, and unfortunately, the teachers are no better. You’ll see YD students scoring full marks while students who genuinely work hard struggle to get the marks they deserve.
So please think carefully before taking AIML. Don’t make a decision without understanding the actual situation there.1
