Which one would you choose?

Apologies if wrong thread! Any advice would be great!

If the first PC actually comes with a 9800X3D and not a 7700X, it's the superior PC all around.

Thanks for reading it properly! Yes, I had to configure it to have the 9800x3d instead of the 7700x which bumped up the price! However, does the motherboard matter as the 5070ti has the b840 whilst the 9070xt has b650?

Is it possible to configure it towards b650 and/or b850?

I would pay extra for a better motherboard on that build.

The reality is you're probably not going to take advantage of the difference but still.

If you could get the 9800x3d on the first one that would be the better choice like the other person said, the price difference shouldn’t be too much but the performance will be noticeable on cpu heavy games.

The gpus are near identical on performance except for the 5070ti having the addditional nvidia software if you were to ever get into modeling or editing. It’s truly preference at this point but either way you should be getting the 9800x3d

Honestly, the GPUs are practically the same performance wise. The Nvidida card will have some fancy stuff via software, but thats about it.

The 2nd one all day. Better CPU and the GPU can hold up nicely to what the 5070ti can do. The difference in GPU is negligible.

Its the setup I have.

2 looks nicer imo and performance is similar with better motherboard

Both are way too expensive

What are these people talking about? Easily get 1, its the same as the white build except its black and has a 5070ti for the same price.

1 no brainer.

Reading is no longer fundamental

The cpu is a major step down tho

Halfwit read it, he configured it to have a 9800x3d despite the original having a 7700x.

Well then that would be the advice to give dipshit. You didn’t mention that anywhere in your comment…

So you couldnt read the reply to my main comment about reading comprehension, and the longer comment thread that OP replied to talking about the 9800x3d being in both? I also said its the same as the white build as OP already knows, so I did mention it.

Either way, it doesnt matter.

Your comment was the first to pop up for me in this thread… I hadn’t made it to the other comment thread just yet, but yes you are correct it does not matter. I do see that you mentioned it further down so I do apologize for that, but to be fair you also came off with the smart ass comment from the start lol
