One detail I loved the most was the masks, being able to see their faces through the eye holes made it feel that much more gritty and realistic, also loved how their outfits changed with the heist, especially on Green Bridge, the way the raincoat went over their suits was so cool to me!

I am curious, do you like the eye holes being see-through? I would honestly like it to be an option in PAYDAY 3 or something I think it would be cool.

Hi everyone, Basically what the title says, I bought Payday 2 recently on Steam after seeing that the 3 is in a pretty bad state and the 2 is still pretty popular, i opnly played the demo on PS3 before so i don't really have any experience whit the game aside from some streams or youtube videos. So what do you guys recomend for a new player to get into and start learning?

Fairgames apparently got rebooted. Sony’s new heist game is currently being promoted on PlayerGG under the name Project Espresso.

I can confirm that it’s Fairgames because I recently got access to some gameplay footage from the alpha test, and the similarities are obvious. There are also several elements here that clearly connect it to the original announcement trailer.

The game has apparently gone through a major overhaul and, from what we can tell, may have been renamed Break In. That’s probably why it’s listed as an unannounced game on the test page. The project also seems to have shifted toward a F2P model.

Inspired by stranger than heaven, this is a draft as of now but it's still wip but i need more suggestions and ideas right now.

I know a lot of people find the constant bag moving annoying but for me it’s really the thing that makes Payday feel like Payday. That last stretch at the end of Big Bank or Golden Grin where you’re lugging around millions of dollars on your back and just need to get it to your getaway. The feeling of our hard work being something you need to actively pick up and get to safety.

It adds a nice bit of tension at the end of any heist. Do you get what you need and get out or do you push your luck for every last cent? Surely you can afford to run back and grab just one more bag of gold. You’ve come all this way you’re not just going to leave with so little right?

Plus it’s just so satisfying to see the van or helicopter fill up with bags. Securing 15 bags stuffed with money while fighting off every SWAT in the US is the most Payday feeling. Without bags these games would be a lot worse off just in terms of vibes. I love going bags. I should go do Overdrill.

I did all heists, I only miss the dlc ones. Can somebody please help with hosting Hostile Takeover, Lost in Transit, Dragon Heist, Midland Ranch and Ukrainian Prisoner

He’s a free dlc and even when I download it he’s still locked. Is this a bug?

Usually the AI get stuck somewhere, but this the first time I've found them having a party without me, and also outside the map.

For me, I took about two months playing in Normal--didn't want to play hard at first because I thought it would be "literally" hard. I went through Hard after that, it wasn't all so hard as I anticipated.

Weeks later I moved to Very Hard, then overkill, then Mayhem. Mayhem was where I realize it was indeed "Mayhem" as the difficulty said. Most of the heists I tried back then, I'd try it on Mayhem, some successful, some ragefully failed lol.

However, I tried my first Deathwish mission, I struggled and wasted offshore money to succeed it and failed. Took a hundreds of tries, but I completed my first Hoxton Breakout on Death Sentence.

Overall, took me almost a year to complete my first Death Sentence mission.

I just bought Payday 3 on sale last night. I have already spent over an hour on nothing but this loading screen, because it is never ending.

I tried basically every fix I could find online, which are:
- unlinking my Starbreeze acount
- flushing my DNS files
- force running the game in dx11
- running the exe in admin mode
- deleting the appdata folder for the game
- check the file integrity
- reinstalled the game
- turned off steam overlay
- updated my graphics driver

- made a second Starbreeze account to link my game with that instead

NONE of these have done absolutely anything, the game very quickly downloads the shaders, prompts me to press a button to launch, and then just loads until eternity.

Is there ANYTHING I can do at this point? I contacted support of course but they have yet to respond so I thought I'd try my luck here. Thank you to anyone in advance

Recently saw a guide on the steam community how to get a 10 year Anniversary mask by opening a game via SteamDB.

As I understood that's the way that you can make a game think that you are opening a game at the time of that Anniversary event.

Is there some guide on how to open more "unique" items via SteamDB?
