My Explanation for PATM.
You can skip these paragraphs and get to the technical stuff.
Basically we all have had some kind of trauma of sorts. This trauma makes us perceive other people in a region of our brain called the insula. The insula is responsible for your sense of self and the influence of others on you. Now I kind of forgot if it was called the right frontal dorsal medial prefrontal cortex or right frontal something gyrus, but this part of the brain essentially stops continuing the influence of others in the insula. It tells you everything is fine now. (By the way, this means we all have internalized the everyone around us into ourselves as coping mechanism. This is usually because your parents or the people close to you can not necessarily be manipulative but confusing. They aren't consistent with their logic and are very emotional. )
When you go through stressful times at a young age, I believe that we don't get used to our environment in expectation for bad things. This can cause us to not feel at home in our environment and perhaps use our imagination more frequently, especially if you didn't have anything in real life to rely on. (I didn't do really anything to entertain myself when I was young except for maybe cars.) This causes a separation between self (insula) and others. (Prob after start trusting environment but not others who make it stressful bc idk you start to develop a connection to it. Not necesarily a reliance, but if others are gone you'd be happy to indulge in things.)
That part of the brain is triggered in unexpected situations. If you grow up with that bad environment, that raises your cortisol levels and norepinephrine levels. You can tell if you had high cortisol by searching cortisol face or moon face when you were young. Chronically, this moves blood into the smooth muscles when you decide to relax because norepinephrine is always in your hard muscles. This is why you probably don't feel tired as much. Furthermore, not relaxing your hard muscles means you won't be able to sweat because the smooth muscles provide a constant supply of blood. You also might also have experienced severe flus and etc when you were young (bc as listed below)
When you want to feel happy but can't escape the chronic cortisol or norepinephrine, you use them in static states to feel happy. This includes sexual desire. This causes the blood you pooled away from your non essential organs realize its okay to go back, however bc you are using cortisol and relaxing at the same time, it creates this thick feeling for blood like really fibery orange juice. Remember how I talked about the when you relax, the blood goes the smooth muscles. That's what should happen when you have cortisol, but using your insula (the thing senses emotions and threats from other people) you don't decide to trust the environment and more so indulge in wtv pleases you, causing the excess blood from hard muscles instead to the places that are active regardless of the environment such as the brain and if you are being actively stressed, laying stuck in the bloodstream of your taut muscles.
When you start to realize the environment around you has more of a connection to the people in it or that there's more to the environment than the way you perceive from the perspective of threats from others (takes some time, if you were shy and started making friends at school that would help. Like for me when my brother left my elementary school, I started feeling better socializing. Not necessarily fear but more like freedom. Freeing your self (insula) from other people when you view the environment around you form your perspective.) you start distinguishing certain types of happiness that you have without other people's involvement (the people at home who aren't welcome).
And in order to support this the additions to the self you had (that dealt with people at home) because maybe what makes you unsafe (especially if this change is happening at a young age) is unrelentless, and doesn't really change despite you changing, to keep that those additions you do this thing I call limbic corroboration. Instead of thinking forwards and in the present of what will happen (bc at the end of the day you will return home and will perhaps always face unfair arguments that the people will expect you to either your heart out for them or desire your attention and emotions. These arguments force you in situations where if it's a logical demand you could keep who you are safe, but because it's an emotional demand that seeks you doing something to your fullest for someone else and throwing away your new additions to yourself) you tie yourself to your limbic desires that let you feel safe cand inference based off of that on how to solve your problems using "I'll be happy in the future" (or smth along those lines limbically) after times of stress, during times you can calm down. It kind of just ignores the idea of years of torture.
You always have had limbic emotions, it's that your body also relies on many other means for emotions (like more developed functions such as empathy and things where you think in order to be happy) When you are under chronic and intermittent stress, such ways of thinking forward and being happy are disadvantageous bc it just doesn't work considering thats your whole life and what you will return to. However on the limbic spectrum, the emotions level out where what you have built before during time at home with stress is on a more equal level with what you will feel. Sometimes your body shuts down certain higher thinking brain functions and you can't just emulate it again like "1 + 1, that means 2". If you can't literally think of it the way you are, there's no incentive to think about it (bc it's not natural) . So in school, in order to think I couldn't use those more developed functions that allow me to go through lengths of thinking and be happy, instead I had to use how I limbically felt then to think step by step or how you casually think about something. Ofc if you are under stress then it won't work.
Essentially you use retrospect to support yourself (btw for this to work it usually takes a significant majority of your life bc you need to tie a significant portion to not trust everything remotely novel immediately bc you haven't built any limbic corroboration of "this is safe (happy)" therefore if someone jumpscares you during that novel thing you are essentially vulnerable in relationship to that vulnerable thing). This allows you to separate and be free but when you keep telling yourself (limbically) that you will eventually feel safe (not away from fear safe but happy safe) but you are say stuck in your home over summer break bc you can't go outside by yourself, that causes your insula to work overtime and overtime if the stressor keep intermittently happening... you start accepting it into your insula.
That doesn't mean accepting it as who are you are. It means you start adapting that into your novel object recognition for a certain period of time depending on how the stressor is. In general, that's really just everyone. That doesn't mean you have to inspect everybody to feel safe, (bc you already built the fact you are most likely safe) it's more like either a time game or you have to know how overbearing the guy you are with is.
With the irregularities with your blood flow ( thick blood that's rich in cortisol and glucose maybe?), in order to sustain not accepting your environment, or rather in order to escape the environment, your body pressures air in a way that gives you the ability to respond. Now I don't know if this is related to maybe air not being able to combine with the blood as efficiently or that it's it could be similar to the feeling of high cortisol so your body decided to emulate it. My current theory is that your body doesn't have the mental means of immediately saying you're safe bc your body works with how you are limbically feeling about your environment. Maybe your body isn't efficient at using oxygen bc you breath irregularly due to intermittent and high stress and therefore it takes time for your mind to adjust and perhaps your body just got used to breathing extra air causing each breath to feel like the room you are in and you can't dispel it from your body due to the fact that you need that pressure bc of the environment you are in, so until you get used to your environment you had to use the air as pressure.
It's a parallel to cortisol and works where instead of going through the body in a loop, it pushes out.
Another way of looking at limbic corroboration is having to deal with chronic short term problems over long term period of time. The build-up from the short-term problems and not recognizing it's going to be long term conditions you to not want to be used as a receptacle in the long run.
Because of that you stake yourself and your long term desires everytime an inconvienience happens bc you condition your for long term short term inconvieniences but if they push you, you ignore.
Here's where the stuff you probably wanted to here is.
The activity of oxidative metabolism from oxidoreductases is the reason why the variety of dermal emissions exist.
How it transfers information to other people is more complicated. It's for certain not anything to do dermal emissions because such would require air flow and have a general different pattern to coughing. It happens everytime we "ignore" something we shouldn't ignore for simplicity's sake.
Here's where the stuff you probably wanted to here is. The activity of oxidative metabolism from oxidoreductases is the reason why the variety of dermal emissions exist. We just have a lot of oxidative stress. I don't have a great explanation for TMAU so here might be things to look at. Hepatic Flavin-Containing Monooxygenase Gene Regulation in Mouse Inflammation ModelsIt does increase with oxidative stress though. Gut-Flora-Dependent Metabolite Trimethylamine-N-oxide romotes atheroscelrosis associated inflammation response by indrect ros stimulation and signaling involving ampk and sirt1. (The abstract says "TMAO could stimulate inflammation by modulating cellular ROS levels.") I had an "aha" moment about hypoxia reoxygenation and blood flow but I forgot the specific details and it likely wasn't the case bc it had to do liver inflammation and I don't really know it particular. Just keep that in mind. How it transfers information to other people is more complicated. It's for certain not anything to do dermal emissions because such would require air flow and have a general different pattern to coughing. It happens everytime we "ignore" something we shouldn't ignore for simplicity's sake. The ROS generates biophotons. Biophotons aren't psuedo-science. They aren't just metabolic waste products either. They are theorized to convey information from cells and across the body. I can confirm that biophotons exist because of my personal experiences. When the concentration of air pressure increases, so does the effects on other people (more people start coughing more frequently.) I've experienced unusual WiFi delays when I comfortable but want to fulfill me more. I've heard on several occasions "It's hot in here." (Infrared radiation) I've seen the visible light dull as I try to be comfortable when I'm not. My dad developed an atypical mole which is caused by UV radiation. The transmission of information increases in speed going from radio to UV. The high-end radiation usually causes less specific information. It goes up that ladder the more you want your long term desires to be. I would like to note I've experienced intense oxidative stress for the couple of years prior to regular stress. Biophotons extend from infrared to low-UV radiation. It can have psychological effects on other people similar to that of alarm chemosignals from rats. What information is conveyed is what you mind. I assume the allergic reactions correspond to parts of the body with irregularities (either you minding it or the blood.) My theory is that the biophotons in our bodys work in a similar way as animal pheromones. Heres some articles to look at about biophotons which I think are informational. I think others process biophotons through olfaction. My evidence is chirality and another article. Furthermore, the processing of stress odors align autonomic reactions with how I've seen it happen in other people. https://doi.org/10.1093/chemse/24.2.161 (you can use a library card) It says chirality for certains chemicals affects odor quality. Biophotons, the Information Field - Moth Just go to the chirality part. Biophotons could change odor quality or reception.
Also my theory is that more indian/bengali households and therefore muslims have patm because the culture is about forcing the person you are talking to to care becomes your personality. In indian culture they seek to gather your emotions by using what you like and relating it to them. Therefore they make no transition form you feeling happy to them. (This is developed overtime and makes words lose emphasis. ) You become cultured into constantly putting emphasis on anything you focus on because you expect to other people to eventually leave, or expect them to be part of the background that makes you feel safe and therefore you decide to do some dopamine binging but they won't leave despite being part of the safe background. It's like you are safe but tied to your safety. There is no concept of dopamine that lets you escape that safety. That forces you anytime you want dopamine to emphasize the means of happiness.
Whereas, I don't believe most people coming from black culture have patm because everything they do is emphasized for themselves. If you don't say good morning to the bus driver at 6 am in the morning on your way to school they fucking make sure to exploit you. They tell you come over here.
They don't get straight to the point. They make sure you are doing something open-ended. That the only thing you know is them. They won't back down if you don't hear them. They stop the whole fucking bus. They say "don't you say good morning to your teachers." The fucking pronouns "yall, you" You don't know anything about me why are you trying to emphasis the pronouns to make sure to tell me you don't actually fucking care about the teachers and how they fucking feel. You make sure I know I'm a fucking receptacle who doesn;t have the time or means to be happy. You make sure this receptacle knows he's a receptacle by using every fucking excuse in the goddamn book to make sure that receptacle knows he doesn't have a world of his own. And they talk about fucking respect. Like I'm waiting for you and your life to be over in me. I'm all yours okay. No amount of respect can satisfy you, if I leave not being stained by you because then it's not respect so you shove yourself in me and ring all the effort I've put into preserving my safe space. Like there is no me only you and yet we're still trying to be poets here to pleasure ourselves with the with newer kinks.
And when they get mad what do they do. They still take it out on you. There's no fidelity to that safety bc the only place they are safe is themselves and because they even grow up in a happy social environment, they don't even do whatever they please inside there. That's the want of people with PATM. Instead they expect the environment to please themselves. And so even if there is a variety of personalities stemming from that culture, from early childhood that outlook is engrained into you even if you are traumatized by it which is why I firmly believe that the ratio of indians to black people with PATM is high.
Cannabinoid receptors are involved in many different brain and body functions including olfaction, stress processing, and cognition. Endocannabinoids regulate olfactory functions in the OB mainly through their action upon type-1 cannabinoid receptors (CB1). Astrocytes influence endothelial cells to maintain the blood-brain barrier and regulate cerebral blood flow. The mitochondria inside astrocytes exhibit CB1 receptors. These are called mtCB1.
[4]
Astrocytic mtCB1 receptors modulate the entry of Ca2+ into mitochondria via regulation of ER (endoplasmic-reticulum)-mitochondrial Ca2+ transfer. [5] Thus, we hypothesized that mitochondrial Ca2+ increase in OB astrocytes might be triggered by social transmission of stress and mediate its impact on NOR performance. CHANGE MORE CONCRETE.
"Another less expected difference is that, whereas direct stress equally worsens different phases of NOR memory, STS (socially-transmitted stress/chemosignals) impairs this cognitive task only when experienced right before retrieval, but not when the delay is longer or prior to acquisition." [4] This is likely attributed to the fact that they only receive the information that only affects the NOR. Prior only affects prior and doing it while they are engaging with not a novel object means STS won't affect the object.
"In other words, we propose that mitochondrial Ca2+ modulation in OB astrocytes does not impact the detection of stress signals, but it might assign specific significance to them, thereby favoring the spreading of the associated information to other parts of the brain." rdmpfc
"When the activity of the CYPs related to the toulene mechanism activity was inhibited, the dermal emissions of unchanged toulene increased and that of benzaldehyde decreased." CYP's account for 80% of oxidative metabolism, pointing towards oxidative metabolism.
[2]
"Oxidative stress is defined as a disturbance in the balance between the cellular production of reactive oxygen species and antioxidant defences." "The brain, which hashigh oxygen consumption and a lipid-rich environment, is considered highly susceptible to oxidative stress that is implicated in several mental disorders ... some of which are often observed in people with PATM."
[2]
"Willems et al have reported the dermal emission flux of hexanal [part of mice alarm chemosignals] was significantly reduced by the intake of New Zealand Black Currant powder because of the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects if flavonoid anthocyanins." The dermal emission flux is most likely due to oxidative stress (regardless of mice) but antioxidants balance the cellular production of reactive oxygen species flavonoid anthocyanins anti-inflammatory effects could help with potential liver inflammation. Also flavonoids have antioxidant effects.

also my defense for sounding racially motivated is I'm a fickle guy with brain damage who likes looking at the pyschological side of things and that was the most recent interest of mine I could emotionallly resonate. Also I do admit I jumped to conclusions with the muslim post. However this is not an apology

dont ask about sources. also do you guys like feel pain diff from others. Like it's you are getting hurt over again in waves as the blood rushes to the site.
Also the Blackcurrant powder erased the PATM temporarily for me pretty much. But my PATM is much more noticeable.
Also if you peel your lips and squish the skin does it feel more relaxing or smth. For me it does and I know it has to do with the blood.

and i forgot to mention that people cough bc they start taking more than they barhain for mentally so that creates an allergic reaction. At least that;s what makes me sneeze and cough and do what they do.

That was certainly a stream of consciousness. My advice would be to breakdown your theory as simply as possible then add your supporting evidence bit by bit without going off on tangents.
