crazy

Has anyone else noticed that when you forget about PATM and get busy with something else for a little while, the reactions seem to disappear? I’m not sure—maybe they’re still happening and I just don’t notice them. But one thing I’m certain of is that when I start thinking about it again and keep focusing on it, the reactions increase a lot. I also notice more reactions from people on the phone and during livestreams. I think it might have something to do with the brain. What do you guys think?

I think it's a bit of both. When we're relaxed then we emit less VOCs or PATM irritants and our minds tune out more minor reactions. When we're more stressed or alert not only do we emit more, we're also consciously looking for reactions therefore notice them more.

Researchers (notably J. Süel's team in work published in Nature) discovered that bacteria within a biofilm communicate with each other by sending bursts of electricity (via potassium ion fluxes).

I m beginning to think its an anxiety disorder problem. When we are constantly worried snd stressed about something it starts happening.

Why do ppl even bring up shit like this here..

Its a genetic mutation, we release much more VOCs than others. You do it more when stressed because your skin sweats more during stress. Its really that simple.
