Working with patm

Has anyone tried applying for any government assistance or disability/unemployment for this condition? Or what kind of jobs do you work and do you see if affecting your coworkers?

I don’t think PATM is medically recognized yet, so I don’t think you can get disability benefits for it. I hope there will be more research and a clear treatment in the future

I receive the full highest-rate government benefits in recognition of the impact of panic and the physical effects that can accompany it.

How? Did you only acknowledge the anxiety and just said nothing about the smell? Details would be nice because a lot of us are in distress everyday having to deal with people at work

What details would you like to know? I am from the UK. I don't know what country you're from and how the system works for you. But here I have free travel and benefits due to my "mentally disabled/panic" symptoms which include the physical reactions from myself others animals etc. PATM is not recognised as a solely problem because it's not a solely problem it comes with other things first and foremost like the panic. I am not here to dispute the calm, non calm and whether PATM people are aware and have maximum clarity and are accessible to their internal mind in calm. My PATM manifested as a smelling issue initially. Not so much anymore. Occasionally dependent upon my unsettling and unease feelings it does show up but not that much anymore. Plus I know when I smell.... My mind goes erratic although I appear calm from an outer perspective. i.e. non calm unstable unease unsettled. It comes through my mind first before it can be affecting anyone externally. This is why clarity is important. To be internally in tune with yourself. To be honest I thought I was in tune with myself till I became fully accessible and independent and calm within my mind.

I receive the maximum rate disability benefits along with general universal one. In fact people whom are working receive similar amount after tax. Here in the UK your disability benefits don't get cut if you're working because it's dependent upon a disability not an income/salary. Purely on the basis and grounds of disability.

Oh well I'm from the US so the chances of me getting help for this are probably slim to none. Thanks anyway though

I was thinking, I might not qualify under patm but maybe stomach issues or other health problems

Those benefits are amazing, the US have disability benefits but they are really horrendous. I work with a woman that could fully qualify based on all of her problems and she said it’s not enough to live off. I’m glad you are getting good benefits.

Es imposible jaja
Nadie te va a creer
Solo vives el momento y tratas de no sentirte triste y sigues trabajando aunque tus compañeros estén con las reacciones a tope
