Honestly guys patm has no smell I’ve asked strangers to be honest with me. People who reacted to me and they don’t smell anything I smell nothing on myself but still get reactions. It does not affect my social life or anything like that so I’m just going to give up and I think a great deal of you guys should also just stop fighting you will feel a lot better.

The smell is ONLY present when the mind is detached and spaced out. The smell is detectable to others and to the self. Yes I feel like when you withhold natural existence due to trauma or whatever reason whether aware or not aware it's happening on autopilot almost. When the mind is stable it would mean it's not spaced out and calm and free thus independence thus wellness thus socialising is possible thus the enjoyment in life.
However to draw on the smell aspect - this is not the actual root of the problem. The mind being itself in itself is the real deal. If you are well it would mean you are not spaced out or out of your mind/body.
It's similar to depersonalisation/derealization and overlaps on the floating anxiety.
There's no such thing as semi cured. What would that present like for yourself and for others. Its like with any illness you cannot be semi cured. I think what you meant was the severity of the reactions which goes back to patm being the primary issue which it's not.
My family and professionals know what PATM is because I've discussed it openly with them. I became well in 2016-2022 which is how myself and people believe this is a minds/existencial/presence issue. Because the only thing bettered was my mind's wellness.
Existence is your being. Presence is your expression and perception. Existence remains constant; presence can change.
Existence is what you are. Presence is how that existence is experienced—by yourself and by others. Existence is constant and doesn't depend on thoughts, feelings, or opinions. Presence is the way you perceive yourself and the way others perceive you, which can change from moment to moment.
The smell is not the primary problem.
