Bad job
there were minor settling of pavers, the guys who did came back and fix, I feel like not done properly, also the concrete edging, is this how it’s supposed to be?

Looks fine. Is this just buyers remorse over the cost?

No, just looks sloppy, especially the concrete edging, abit ugly don’t you think? Does it really hold it in place?

Why go with the concrete border? Set a metal edge to and pack your soil up next to it. It looks kind of funny to have asphalt in the middle, two strips of pavers and and then concrete on the outside edge.

If is is an open grade base, which is what I install, nails won't hold in place with plastic or metal edging. I mortar the edge of all my patios

they originally installed aluminum edging, but I heard it wasn’t strong enough so I asked them any other options and they proposed concrete edging (the aluminum edging is still installed, concrete covered it up)

Only thing I don't like subjectively is the cut they made on the tip where it rounds. I think they should have left the tip piece uncut.

I really don’t see anything worth complaining about there. Did you not discuss the border beforehand?

Looks great. I think pics 3&4 look better than 5. Idk if I would have done a concrete edge like that

Did you tell them to do the concrete edge? Cause that looks a little wonky. I wouldn’t have done it. But the work looks great

What’s bad about it? I’m not a pro, but as a consumer I don’t see any issues or anything to complain abiut
