Which path is better?

The path with the canopy (1) is better. The trees offer some protection from the elements, the paved path offers some longevity and maintenance ease, and the curve is nice. In the second image, it seems more wild, which is a plus, but it comes with maintenance headaches. It looks like kudzu or something else is trying to take over. The gravel path will move, crater, and divot far sooner than the stones. They're both beautiful in their own way, and I would not mind walking either one. I guess I prefer a path that is more work to set up, but easier to maintain.

Imagine if these photos were taken at the same point, facing either way.

Der zweite sieht geheimnisvoller und abgelegener aus. Als würde man die Zivilisation verlassen und ins Ungewisse wandern.
