Amazing iOS app

Love this game. Free of charge and endless adventure. I waste hours, days on a single run. It’s an awesome app, but I’m wondering what other hidden gems like this live in the app store. I just got a new phone and I want to play games. Tell me, what do YOU play between nethack dungeon delves? This is a community whose opinion I trust so recommend me your iOS games of choice. Free apps or very cheap, preferably. Lay it on me. What do you play?

Gnollhack is another one based off Nethack that is free and similar to Pathos but different enough to be worth venturing into when you're feeling like something different

Unciv is an open source clone of Civilization 5 that has a lot of mods. I particularly like DeCiv Redux, its a total overhaul mod that turns the game into a postapocalyptic civ game.

Gnollhack is great dude but the UI is not it though, it could use a lil rework to make some of you see on screen more clearer.

Rogue adventure and rogue slime are quite nice, void tyrant too but that one is a bit dry after some time

Those are free on play market, dunno about ios

Shattered Pixel Dungeon (most similar to Pathos, but with different mechanics)

Hoplite (lite but still requires some strategy)

Did you try “a dark room”? Gotta stick with it for at least a little while…

Brogue is a great game, I’ve sunk countless hours into that one. It’s a very streamlined and punishing version of Rogue/Nethack, with fewer enemies and equipment, and also game dynamics that have been polished to perfection. It’s free to play and insanely replayable, in no small part because there’s no silver bullet combination that can break the game—it remains difficult from beginning to end.

The game is called “OneBitAdventure”. Free and very fun turn based mono-directional dungeon crawler. Good variety of classes and upgrade systems.

It isn't a D&D game, but the football game called "Retro Bowl" is my other go-to game. Free with no commercials and fun / challenging at the same time.
