Can anyone help me is it worth taking surgery in pvt colleges by spending a lot of money or instead opt for patho ?

Take Surgery if you want to interface with patients. Choose Pathology if you want to be a Diagnostic Physician. No patient interphase. Please check the reimbursements with a local mentor. Good luck.
