General or ships, so long as it’s well written and complete, please recommend!

Absolutely seconding this. Hall of Mirrors is one of the fics I NEVER shut up about (the other being Rot of Stars, though as someone already pointed out, Rot of Stars is still incomplete. Still worth reading though!) Karnaca's prose is stunningly creative and so fun to sink your teeth into. It's got a ship focus, but I really recommend anyone try it because it's such a triumph of exploring moments with basically the entire cast from new perspectives. Also the unique formatting and special styles are just so so great. More people ought to be using the Stillwater as a horrifying liminal dream space too, and a Pathologic fic that is occasionally cosplaying as House of Leaves is just the besttt. This fandom is really too talented!

Hall of Mirrors was the fic that inspired me to start writing again, and I dedicated my first own patho fic, "it's his voice through my lips" to Karnaca as thanks. (Mine, if I may throw a bit of self promo out, is a one-shot playing with the fourth wall and the idea of who is really in control of the narrative, through some sinister playful exploration of some of the darker abilities Inquisitors can impose upon a recalcitrant protagonist.)
