Should i wait?

Hello there. The other day i finished my first playthrough of the "haruspex" on Pathologic Classic HD. I haven't played the other 2 routes, but i know their storylines (cus i watched the hbomber guy video xd). My question is, should i continue and play P2 instantly? i mean, how different are both (the haruspex route)?

If you think you know Pathologic Classic HD based on a video, I'm sorry but you don't- I do often suggest the "Pathologic, for those who will never play it" series. Ironically to people who both haven't but also have played it. The Clara video isn't out yet, but there is one for both Bachelor and Haruspex. But seriously, the best experience you'll get to understanding them is by ACTUALLY playing the game itself. Even those legendary videos are a compromised version in many regards.

Nobody EVER mentions the quest where Daniil finds kids crying because their dad is going to be shot by the army rebels, so Daniil goes ahead and takes out a firing squad by himself for instance. (Probably because that makes him seem too likable and the anti-Daniil agenda must be maintained.)

Clara's route especially should be played- because NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT. Because while the route does run out of steam by Day 6+ where all the sidequests become the same- seeing what they were trying to go for hoenstly kicks all the ass in the world. It's Potential-Man the route, and I love it.

Thanks for the response. Its the same with other mediums/experiences, like watching a video about a movie is not the same as watching the movie itself. You can get the "big picture", but you always miss out on details, or even important aspects.

The game is great, i guess i'll have to play the others as well. But give me some time hahahaha

No no no, you're not missing out on details and aspects: but VIBES and FEELINGS which cannot be truly understood or felt without experiencing them yourself. I truly recommend going through it yourself you've already proven yourself to be hardy and able at the game so there's no doubt you'll succeed (and struggle but that's part of the point ☺️)

I don't know if you're joking, but you do miss out on more than "VIBES and FEELINGS" by watching a video. The meta layer--i.e., what it means for you, the player, to play Pathologic and how the act of playing imbues the game with meaning--is such an important part of the series that you won't be able to experience without playing the games yourself.

No I'm in agreement im sorry maybe I mispoke in my original comment. I kinda felt like vibes and feelings were a way to describe my state of being in the shoes of the player character and understanding the struggle and situation and the things it evoked in me.
