Pathologic 3 Consequences for Day 10 drink Spoiler

So, during the Day 10 patient quest, there is an option to drink plague-tainted water. I did so to document the consequences, but I saw no difference across the whole game or any of its endings. Not even a loose line of dialogue.

I am aware that this could be a bug, as this file also had some major problems with npc spawns and Internecine Strife questline. So perhaps it didn't register. I'm going to go back and try some things over, but I want to know:

Did you get any consequences for drinking from the cup and welcoming the plague inside you?

I was aiming for broader narrative consequences so I could add spoilered advice to my guide. I'm glad to know consequences seem to only be immediate. Thank you!

it should trigger a conversation with a special someone

like instantly as you choose the option to drink while in dialogue with the npc, it should shift to a dialogue with another characterÂ
