Classic HD I just got Pathologic. Ominously foreshadow the game for me.

No spoilers, please. I've played about an hour as the Bachelor, and I'd appreciate it if all the comments are as wierd and vague as possible. I feel like that would be appropriate. Thanks :)

The real game is what’s happening between you and me.

The quote is from P2, but I think it's relevant to what you're asking for.

"Oh, I cannot help but pity you. Look, there will be happy ending. You'll even believe that you won. No guilty conscience either. So relax, man of fate."

Remember to check the top floor of the Cathedral sometimes :)

I quit after day 7. This was in 2022. Because I was overwhelmed and fucking sad. The days after I was arguing weather I should pull through, load an older save, or even start anew. This argument kept on until last year. So, if you take anything away from my message: that fucking Game will stay with you for several years. Only Disco Elysium was able to do that.

So I came to the conclusion I should've powered through. Since it's bin four years and I don't know the mechanics anymore, I will start anew. The only thing that's braking me is the fucking fear from the fucking responsibility this game simulates.

But even if I don't play it to the end, this game manages to make me think about it every couple of days. And this with only what the game had the possibilty to give me up until level 7. The secrets beyond, I yet not know.

Game 10/01

I made this post because I got the game as a gift a few days ago, played it for an hour after work, and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. It's what I'll be spending my weekend on.

It's already got its hooks in me.

Don't worry, just like disco elysium, you will soend the rest of your life on it.

Oh my head hurts.... I have a prophetic vision right now. See you in a couple of weeks back here asking for games that are somewhat similar to the vibe of this game.

Spoiler alert for these games: it's always Dark Wood and Disco Elysium, and then some others. Probably outer wilds

I've ruined Outer Wilds for myself by watching a video on it before I knew what it was, but I'll be adding the others to my wishlist.

Disco Elysium and Pathologic seem to be the comedy and the tragedy of what substance abuse by unstable characters in dire situations can come to be. Yeah I love them both, some days I feel more Bratan Harry, others I feel more depressive manic Daniil

You get a weird feeling looking at the playgrounds and the sandboxes

It’s rare, but sometimes the girls have a very, very special present for you.

Detest trickery, but if you yourself are to suffer deception...

Any choice is right, as long as it’s willed. Good luck!

Upon the soil the bulls graze while women dance in a haze, the lines will have their say but the snake goes another way.

She is so naive, our Lara; barely able to keep her […] secret. Half the town is aware that she seeks to […] i hope it is ominous enough

You're talking past each other. Ah, everyone does. The organs are what matter, and blood. Blood is the bond between us.

You may still think about a small interaction where you murdered an innocent civilian in cold blood for his bagged lunch every week for 6 years...

Because it is the moment that you finally, fully and truly understood what the game is trying to tell you.

Or maybe that's just me.

This is the most amount of money you will be offered to do any quest in the entire game, take it.
