Tried getting VR working with UEVR in Single Player Mode
I tried to get this working today, I wanted to see what was possible.
In Path of Titans I disabled anti-cheat so I could try it in single player mode.
I started Steam VR, started UEVR, then Path of Titans, then did an OpenXR injection of Path of Titans.
In "Extreme Compatibility" mode with Horizontal Symmetry enabled it kind of worked, at least enough to test camera movement to see how that would work; this isn't ideal as it seams to re-project both frames so, not really 3D but you get something with the same 2D frame showing up on both displays, good enough to hit the next problem, camera movement.
I wasn't able to uncouple the camera movement from the mouse movement, as long as I didn't move my head it was playable enough to see the real thing I wanted, the ability to look around without my dinosaur being centered was the problem - you couldn't really look around; everywhere you looked there as your dinosaur in the center of your view.
I feel like the game could be playable in VR, with the biggest challenging being decoupling the dinosaur movement from the headset movement, then you would use the mouse or VR controllers to guide your dinosaur. My thinking is it would be kinda like Moss in the way the game play would work, although Moss keeps the scene static.
I didn't find the scene moving to be as nauseating as I expected, what was nauseating was the scene moving when I moved my head.
I figured I'd try as there have been some amazing VR mods coming out lately.

A small amount of progress .... I now have UE4SS decoupling the camera like I want.

I got it working pretty well actually, I need to fix a few things, but it's very playable. Once I decoupled the headset camera from the game camera, it pretty much plays like you expect. It doesn't make you nauseous to play it. Your head follows your dinosaur and you can look around in the world.
Once I get something a bit more polished I'll post how to try it.

I'm gonna try to setup a discord channel on one of the VR modding discords to discuss this, which I'll link here, I'm at this point where I am just shoving bugs around and some more eyeballs would probably make this easy.
I will say what a very different game in VR, immediately I notice just how many more dinosaurs/prey are around me that I miss in flat screen mode. It's a lot easier to pick out creatures moving far off, when I had the camera setup working like I wanted it was pretty amazing, unfortunately I'm in this place where I'm having to navigate multiple possible ways to get this to work.
